Incentives for consumers will bring higher sales for Ford
Ford (Ford) will consider its first monthly increase in sales from November 2007 onwards in the U.S. in July, largely due to the government program to encourage purchases of new cars, officials said.
The company expects its first year and increase sales.
In an interview with the agency company representatives commented that this is a good sign for the U.S. economy. According to them, the land of unlimited opportunity has not gone out of “deep hole”, which fell, but was about to “crawled”.
Ford was the only American avtokompaniya that does not come into bankruptcy court and did not require state aid to survive. Concern was presented extremely well against the other Detroit giants and reporting much smaller loss and better sales in recent years.
Government incentive program launched on 24 July and provided assistance amounting to 4 500 dollars when buying a new car and transfer the old for recycling. The scheme has a total value of $ 1 billion and could cover the sale of from 222 to 286 thousands of new, more environmentally friendly cars.
Expected because of the impact of the program, although it was released recently, sales of new environmental and fuel-efficient vehicles to take into account growth in July. This will become clear in the final monthly sales reports, which will be announced on Monday.
